I’ve been an athlete most of my life but didn’t realize the importance of weight training until 2013. I was 30 years old at that point and didn’t have much muscle definition to show for my collegiate volleyball days. I began working with a personal trainer 3 times a week and developed a love for not only looking strong, but feeling strong, and lifting heavy (hear me out, ladies). Fast forward ten years and I finally decided to combine my passion for helping others with my love for fitness.
One of my favorite aspects of personal training is motivating people to be the best version of themselves. This doesn’t always just happen physically - a lot can be accomplished mentally in the gym. Many people avoid the gym because they feel intimidated and lack confidence. My goal is to help make a positive association between the gym and the work we do there. I jump for joy when a client’s progress positively impacts other areas of of their life. Whether you’re a rookie, a seasoned athlete or somewhere in between, I’m committed to being by your side as you tackle your health and fitness goals.
